Wantan Mee for Meia

She's juz like me, she loves her mian mian!!!! Maybe it was during my first pregnancy with Meia, I remember eating so much noodles n bread than rice. On Friday night I was feeling hungry, so hb n I (with meia in tow) decided to go to the market for MY supper. Hahaha... the porridge that I'd wanted was closed, so the next best thing to eat was Wantan Mee...

Man, I was so hungry while waiting for it to come.... n guess what.... when it finally came, I was about to 'attack' it when I saw Meia's eyes looking at my noodles lovingly, n not too long after she sort of ran to me n pointed to the noodles.. okie okie.... though I'm starving, I better feed the gal first... so I gave her a few short strands of noodles thinking that soon after I'll have it all to myself.... No leh, she kept asking for MORE!!!! No choice lor, hahaha

So the next morning, I went to the market to get some fresh 'wantan mee' from the yong tau foo stall and for Meia's lunch, I made her a tiny version wantan mee, sans the wantan... instead I added fishball (cut into tiny pieces n char siew).... Woah, she LOVED it n kept coming back for more (my gal is a real fussy eater, n if she's eating porridge, she'll take ages, n she'll not go back to u for more), n in 5 mins she finishes her lunch..... stress free n I didn't even have to get her to come back...

My Christmas Pressie

Yeah!! This is my best pressie I ever got, and its from my hubby hahahaha... a little stupid lah, but he contributed his part lor.... without him how to get my Christmas Pressie??? So have u all guessed????


Its gonna be another August Baby!!!! Woohoo!!!!

Juz went for a checkup this morning, I'm now 6 weeks n 6 days Pregnant! Managed to even see baby's heartbeat!

Can say I'm so so so so RELEIVED!!!!!!! for not too long ago, for all who know me, u knew what happened.... so I'm really praying for baby #2's healthy growth till I see him/her next Aug 2007....

Oops.... I bit my daughter...

Yes, u read it right, I bit little Meia last night when I dreamt I was antagonized by someone n was so pissed off I turned my had to make a quick bite... instead I bit a soundly sleeping Meia n took her completely by surprised... of coz the little one cried....

think it muz be all the MEAT at both Christmas Parties I attended.... or was it the Nicholas Cage movie I watched before going to bed???

Happy 16 Months Darling

Meia turns 16 months today and for the record she said BJ (yellow dino in Barney) so loudly when she was watching a Barney VCD while drinking her morning milky.

Time sure passes real fast! It seemed juz like yesterday that I juz 'popped'. I'm enjoying Meia at this age so much, n a little part of me is sad that very soon my little baby gal will be all grown up..... on the other hand, I'm also looking forward to that.... so strange huh?...

Anyway, little Meia is slowly starting to run, yes, run... n she's certainly keeping me bz since she has grown to love climbing up n down the stairs at home... oh my.... well, that's free slimming sessions for moi....

Meia gets excited too when she catches Bob the Builder on TV (but only the advert la, when Bob was in town, n she only likes the opening theme).... so u see, there's a circle line construction going on pretty near our house. My hubby, being an Architect loves to stop at the overhead bridge n look over the construction site, sort of like 'admiring' the view (actually, what's there to look ar? I can understand if he awes at a building, but this.....?) anyway, when we're out, he's always the one carrying Meia. So one fine day, with Meia in his arms, both father n daughter were admiring the site, hubby told Meia...

Hb : see girl, Bob the Builder
Meia : looks around looking for Bob
Me : Where got?
Hb : There (points to the many many men in yellow construction helmets) Bob the Builder!!!
Meia : Getting excited n pointed to the men

Wahahahaa.... okie.... so everytime we are at the overhead bridge he'll tell her exactly the same thing...

So one fine day.... I brought Meia to the market n was waiting to cross the road at the traffic light, where this Indian man in yellow helmet n boots stood beside me.... guess what our friend did....

She pointed to the man n said 'Bob!' Wahahahahah I couldn't control my laughter.... I laughed out loud ... n the Indian man looked at me thinking what the hell is so funny abt me????

Meia is a big gal

Time flies, was juz viewing Meia's birthday pix n realised how much she's grown. I'm so so so IN LOVE with my little princess. Lately she has been very loving, often running over to hug my front or my back or even my elephant thighs. Sometimes when she's in a good mood, she'll kiss me repeatedly hahaha... very often its during her MEAL times, yes with food n goo all over.... but I don't mind lah, can always wash my face mah.

Juz yesterday she was bz 'patrolling' the whole house, walk the backyard, stop to see n pat our bunny, meimei, then stop to look at the chickens, then the papaya tree, then walk to the front n started to pluck the leaves from the dunno what plant. After that, my sweet little gal gave me the leaf.... oh so sweet, I'm gonna dry it n make into a bookmark.

Darling, u simply make my life so complete. I'm the happiest mama!!!

HomeSchooling

I've been reading up alot on Home Schooling recently, reason being my decision to home school Meia starting from age 2 to 4. I hope I can be successful, cos I fail in the art department. I once had a drawing thrown back to me with my teacher's remarks, she pointed to the what's suppositly a carrot n remarked "What's this?" Wahahahaha it laughed the living daylights out of my family members. Yes, its embarassing. Sad to say, I'm only good at - stick drawing, n when I draw a duck, I gotta start with drawing a No. 2..... hahahaha okie, enough said.... its embarassing.

Well, back to the topic, yes I do hope to do something for Meia. Since I'm a full time Mom, y not take this chance to spend whatever time with her, especially the childhood days.... looking at how fast Meia is growing, I'm already starting to miss it... a part of me wishes she stays this way always, small, innocent n cute... while another part of me wishes to see the grown up Meia.

Anyone interested in homeschooling their kiddos? Pls share ur ideas with this very blur mama.... =)

I love watching Barney VCDs with meia these days y?

1. Its a pleasure watching her dance n trying to imitate the kids in the show
2. I enjoy singing along
3. Meia gets all soft n cuddlely with me

But gotta say I enjoy no. 3 the most!!!
