Pay Per Post

I've read about Pay Per Post quite some time ago but never got around to trying it as I wasn't too sure if it was really true that they pay bloggers for blogging. Finally I've decided to give it a try after a fellow Mommy, Pauline shared it with me.

I've also visited other blogs, namely, Immomsdaughter's and mumsgather and learned that they too have been blogging about PPP. Since I've time on my hands, why don't I give it a try. Almost immediately I signed up with Per Pay Post, got my blog registered with them and within a few days an email notification came to notify me that my blog has been approved and that they are endless of opportunities out there for me to earn some cash.

With Pay Per Post, I can have the flexibility to choose the opportunities I wish to blog about and the best part is I can do it at my own free time. And, as I've mentioned before, any opportunity to earn cash while blogging is a bonus for a SAHM like me.

So friends, what are you waiting for? I've waited long enough, and have decided to get my fingers walking for a good cause. Per Pay Post is a Professional n Reliable company. Sign up now and earn cash for what you like doing best, that is blogging.

Midnight small talk

My little daughter woke up at 2.00am n started a 'small conversation' with me. For starters, I already have problems going to sleep, not to mention that just when I've fallen asleep, my angel chose to 'wake' me with 'itchy, mi mi scratch'.... n being a light sleeper, I immediately open my eyes n came face to face with a very very alert n bright pair of eyes!!!!! My Goodness!!! I made her turn to her side n proceeded to lightly scratch her back, hoping that she'll fall back to sleep. After a good twenty minutes of scratching, n a very aching arm, I thought I could drift back to dreamland, n stopped. Then...

Meia : mi mi scratch...
Me : (thinking to myself) alamak haven't sleep ar?
Me : ok, mi mi scratch u close ur eyes n go sleep ok?
Meia : ok...

After 10 mins....

Meia : Daddy?
Me : Daddy sleeping, shhhhh...
Meia : (sitting up n looking at Michael) at the top of her voice, called out DADDY! DADDY!
Me : Shhhh....... go sleep
Meia : Auntie????
Me : Gosh!!! when's this gonna stop? Aunties sleeping, u go sleep also ok
Meia : Nai Nai????
Me : Stumped...... for a moment... Nai nai also sleeping. U go sleep ok.
Meia : Ok...
Me : (getting ready to sleep)
Meia : mi mi scratch....
Me : .................................................................

Anyway, she FINALLY slept after 1/2 hr.

Lucky

My hb made this remarked on Monday morning where he took half a day off to attend to some urgent matters at home. Meia was bouncing up n down on his lap while I was showing him a very funny video clip of Meia.

Big M : (to hb) ah mi is so lucky to be able to stay home n watch u grow up!!!

Yes, I'm thankful n grateful that I'm one of the lucky few to be able to stay home n watch my kids' growth n not miss out on any important milestones. Life is not a bed of roses as a SAHM, but to me nothing is more important than keeping my family happy together.

I know some people (friends n also s close relative of mine)who sorta look down on me for the path I've chosen. Recently this close relative of mine sorta snubbed me for relying on Michael for money n not being financially independent like before (well she's not a mother herself n will never understand family life with kids). She even laughed saying 'lucky I'm not u' when I told her that I've never regretted my decision. Fortunately she shut up when I replied her 'I'm proud being a Mother!'

I was rather upset by her remarks n cried. I spoke to Michael about it n told him that I've never regretted my decision to be a SAHM n he agreed that its something respectful n not to be looked down upon. This, is a decision we both made when I fell pregnant.

I do not blame this relative of mine, I know she's very career minded n independent (good for her, cos I know she has many 'responsibilities) but that doesn't mean she can step on n demean me in this manner. I'm hurt n even told my Mother 'nevermind telling her after I've delivered Mex, I don't need such a person in my life'... of course, those were words of anger (yes I do admit I'm still a little angry now), but to me, a family member is for life, u just can't shut that person out just because of some crazy hurtful words.

Yes, Meia knows her colours!!! How did I teach her??? Its knowing colours thru Fruit Loops which she has as her breakfast most of the time.

Besides colours, she also has learned how to identify animals, thanks to Animal Planet.

Meia n her fav words

She's getting more vocal these days... she can say quite a number of words n short sentences, though I think she's slow in speaking, I'm already very happy with her progress. The other day she saw a cat playing with a plant she turned n told me
'cat play plant' wah... I didn't know she knows the word 'plant' leh... or the other fav sentence is 'car park there'. 'mi mi go take' 'baby walk walk' 'go n see bird bird'

I've actually lost count of the words she can say, and I know I haven't been blogging it down, cos I don't see the need to... heheheh, or just plain lazy... hahaha.

Mex at 36 Weeks

hmmm..... Mex at 36 weeks was a rather interesting checkup.... first, I had no weight gain, it still stays at 3.5kg so far n it seems Mex is 'eating' up everything :) This was what happened on the morn of 17 Jul 2007.

Gynae : Ok, lets have a look at the baby
Me : (Lying down, relaxing n looking at monitor)
Me : Is his head down?
Gynae : Yap!!!
Me : Great!
Gynae : Ok, lets see how much the baby weighs
Me : Ok
Gynae : Err dear, your baby is 2.8Kg
Me : WHAT????????????? (sitting up)
Gynae : Lie down dear, no need to get so excited, I'll double check again
Gynae : Ok let me find the smallest part of the tummy, hmmmm dear he's still at 2.8kg
Me : Oh mine.... 2.8kg already??? How to push???
HB : Just push lor. Big good mah....
Me : U think so easy ar?
Gynae : Michael the size is everything, ok next time Michael shall get pregnant for the 3rd time! (laughs)
Me : Already comatose.....

Well, whatever will be will be, now I'm just waiting for the day to unload dear Mex....

Motivation

So just what is it that motivates me? Well, its gotta be the 3 Ms!!! To be precise, one BIG, one small n one soon due in another 3 weeks or so. Before Motherhood came into the picture, the one thing that motivates me the most is when Big M praises my cooking!!! HA!!! When Motherhood came into the picture, yes I gotta admit (sorry Big M), Meia becomes the WORLD!!! Its never easy caring for a kid 24/7 who's as sticky as super glue or maybe something even stronger (like gravity????)who thinks u're her world n no one else exists in her life except YOU, the MOTHER.... oh well, I'm not complaining, because my little gal is super adorable n loving (when she's not throwing some super tantrums)... Meia is a sucker for HUGS, n she loves to HUG people too. But what ticks me the most is her INNOCENT LOVE!!! her SMILE, her SHARING HEART, her CARE for me (once I accidentally knocked my head against the cupboard n my little gal ran to me, beat the cupboard, n straight away patted my head) such sweet actions from Meia simply melts me.

Although its MADNESS at times, I tell myself that time with my kids are special. I for one, am willing to stay home n enjoy other perks like watching my kids grow, their milestones, their first steps/words, the list goes on n on... afterall, they're only this YOUNG for a short period of time, n before u know it, they suddenly grow 'wings' n they're no longer EXCLUSIVELY YOURS! Someday they'll become someone's wife n mother... okie, sorry for digressing...

So what other stuff motivates me??? well

1) Everything about Meia
2) Seeing Michael hard at work, trying to provide a better life for his family
3) Mex kicking me real hard
4) Michael praising my cooking
5) Michael giving me big hugs

and errr... last but not least (think its on every womens' list)

6) SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So gals may I know what motivates u?

Bloggerwave

I was surfing Pauline's blog when I came across this opportunity from Bloggerwave to enable bloggers to earn cash while blogging. Being an avid blogger, this is such a good deal!!! and being a Stay At Home Mom, earning extra cash is a BIG BONUS.

I'm very curious myself to see how all these work out, and I'm certainly looking forward to being paid.

If this works out, I do hope other bloggers would give it a try too...

I'm BACK!!!!!!!!!!

I'm BACK in BLOGGER WORLD!!!!!!!!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!! N boy do I miss all of U!!!! My house renos are sorta done n I should say the upgraded house looks pretty nice! I'm glad we went ahead with the renos and also glad that my kids will enjoy better facilities. Oh did I mention that Michael won a 32" lcd TV???? Hiak hiak!!!

Anyway, I'm happy to be home, I'm sure Meia is enjoying it too.

I'm quite sad that my pregnancy is drawing to a close (although its really good to unload); well actually its a mixture of feelings. For one, I'm sure excited to see my son, finally. Second, I'm sad that I won't have as much one on one time with Meia when Mex is out. This time management I really gotta work out. I've also given the thought of sending Meia to GUG for twice a week playgroup sessions, this is to prepare her for nursery next yr (yes, although I would like to homeschool her, I've other plans (mine) in mind). Well, I'll most likely be taking up a professional baker's course sometime next yr when I've more free time on hand, was thinking of earning some extra cash from my kitchen since now that I've a maid (mine, to call my own, who can mind meia n mex when I'm busy). Well, its always good to have some extra cash on hand, n it can also lighten Michael's burden a little.

Well, just some plans, hopefully it'll fall thru.

Yay!!! Its really good to back in wonderful good old virtual land!
